About Me and the Verso Journey
Hi, welcome to Verso. My name is Lisa and I am the owner of Verso Fashions and VRSO Lifestyle Collection. It's been a crazy few years, went through good years and bad and some terrible. In 2017 I thought I'd had it and was about to close the business when I decided to give it one last go, I closed my store and went online only from my house, and decided to start creating our own brand of leggings. I started small, spent my last €480.00 on only a few pairs, sold them and then as the word spread I was ordering more and more. Every penny that was made went straight back into the business, I never took a wage, worked early to late all week and slowly built up an amazing community of customers.
In 2018 I put every last penny in the bank account into a new style of leggings, ordered way to many but they sold out and from there to now it's been the biggest story so far. In 2019, I moved into a new warehouse and office building, we had 6 new styles of leggings and we had branched out into tops, coats, fleeces and activewear. When covid hit we managed to hold our ground and grow more and more. It really has been a whirlwind. Going from being absolutey broke, and I mean broke, to a collection of 1000's pieces, an apprx 4000 sq ft warehouse and offices, an amazing team around me, 100's of thousands of sales and a combined socia media community of 230k is something that keeps me grounded every day. Which is why I work so hard for every customer and I genuiney appreciate every sale, because I know what it feels like to be rock bottom and I will never take any of this or any customers or followers or anyone who is part of our Verso community here for granted. I still pack with the team here, I still clean the floors and I empty the bins.
So that's it in a nutshell, we're still here, still growing and hopefully we will continue to do so. We're based in Cork, Ireland. Our core pieces are versatile lifestyle wear items that funtion for everyday wear. We try to keep our prices as low as possible and the one thing I promise I'll never do is not be real. If I won't wear it, you won't see it. You'll get the real me, good days and bad on our socials.
xx Lisa
